An AIPRM alternative that works outside the browser
AIPRM is a Chrome extension with about a million users that adds a library of prompt templates inside the ChatGPT and Claude web pages, including prompts other people have shared (checked on the Chrome Web Store on September 15, 2026). It works where that extension runs: those sites, in Chrome.
Where Prompt Petal is different
- Every app, not one web page. Your prompts land wherever you type: the ChatGPT or Claude app, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, mail, notes or chat.
- Your prompts, not a public library. Five ready to use and yours to change, and as many as you like with Pro, in groups.
- Phones and watches. A prompt keyboard on iPhone, iPad and Android, and Apple Watch and Wear OS.
- Your selection goes in by itself. Select text, pick Rewrite, and the prompt arrives with your words in it.
- Bring what you have. Import prompts from Markdown, notes, Word, Excel, CSV or JSON.
When AIPRM is the better fit
If you only use ChatGPT or Claude in Chrome and want to browse thousands of prompts other people wrote, AIPRM is built for that.
