Gemini Skills in Chrome, or your prompts in every app
On April 14, 2026, Google added Skills to Chrome: save a prompt you use with Gemini and run it again from the Gemini side panel, with a library of ready made ones. It lives in desktop Chrome on Windows, macOS and ChromeOS, and it works with Gemini (checked on Google's blog on September 15, 2026).
Where Prompt Petal is different
