A prompt keyboard for iPhone and Android
On a phone, the fastest place for a prompt is the keyboard you are already typing with. Prompt Petal adds a keyboard of your prompts, so in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Mail or Notes you switch to it, tap a prompt, and it is typed where your cursor is.
Turn it on
- Install Prompt Petal and open it.
- Follow Turning the keyboard on. On iPhone it is Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard. On Android it is your phone's keyboard settings.
- In any app, hold the globe or keyboard switch key and choose Prompt Petal.
What else is on the phone
- A home screen widget on iPhone copies a prompt in one tap.
- Apple Watch and Wear OS send a prompt to your phone.
- The same prompts as your computer with Pro, encrypted on your device before they sync.
What the keyboard reads
It types your prompts and that is all it does. On iPhone it runs without Full Access, so it has no network connection at all.
