A prompt keyboard for iPhone and Android
On a phone, the fastest place for a prompt is the keyboard you are already typing with. Prompt Petal adds a keyboard of your prompts, so in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Mail or Notes you switch to it, tap a prompt, and it is typed where your cursor is.
Turn it on
- Install Prompt Petal and open the app.
- Follow Turning the keyboard on. On iPhone it is Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard. On Android it is your phone's keyboard settings.
- In any app, hold the globe or keyboard switch key and choose Prompt Petal.
What else is on the phone
- A home screen widget on iPhone and Android copies a prompt in one tap, with Plus.
- Apple Watch and Wear OS send a prompt to your phone, with Plus.
- The same prompts as your computer with Plus, encrypted on your device before they sync.
What the keyboard reads
The keyboard types your prompts. On iPhone it runs with Full Access off.
