Your AI prompts in Messages and WhatsApp
More AI assistants live where you already chat. Meta AI sits inside WhatsApp, and on an iPhone Siri can hand a question to ChatGPT. The slow part is still typing a good instruction with your thumbs.
AI agents you can text
A new wave of AI agents lives right in your messages, as TechCrunch rounded up on October 3, 2026. Each one answers in the chat, so a petal with your best prompt works the same way it does with any AI.
- In iMessage: Iris for everyday tasks, Miso for travel, Tomo in group chats, and Poke, the first AI agent on Apple Messages for Business.
- In iMessage and RCS on Android: Caddy.
- In iMessage, WhatsApp and Telegram: Folk and Rene.
- In iMessage and Telegram: Stanley, for content creators.
- By text, WhatsApp, Slack or email: Martin.
- In WhatsApp: Pally.
- By text message: Ollie, which also works in group chats, Fambot for families, and Orbits.
Keep a petal for the asks you send most, such as "Plan my week from these notes" or "Find a time that works for all of us", and tap it instead of typing the same request each time.
Your petals in the Prompt Petal keyboard
Prompt Petal for iPhone and Android comes with a keyboard that holds your prompts. In Messages, WhatsApp or any chat, switch to the Prompt Petal keyboard, tap a petal, and the whole prompt goes into the message. Select some text first and it goes into the prompt with it.
Set it up in two minutes
- Install Prompt Petal from the App Store or Google Play.
- On iPhone, open Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard, and pick Prompt Petal. On Android, open Prompt Petal and follow its two steps to turn the keyboard on.
- In any chat, press and hold the globe or keyboard key and pick Prompt Petal.
Five prompts worth keeping for texting an AI
- Summarize this thread. Paste a long group chat and get the three things that matter.
- Draft a reply. Friendly, short, in your own voice.
- Translate. Into the language the other person writes in, keeping the tone.
- Plan it. Turn a messy idea into a few clear steps.
- Explain it simply. For a link or a message you only half understand.
From your watch
With Pro, tap a petal on your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch and the phone keyboard holds it as one key, ready to send in the chat you have open.
Free holds five prompts you write and edit. Pro holds as many as you like and keeps them in sync between your phone, your computer and your watch.
